Civic Involvement

The attorneys at Fox, O’Neill & Shannon consider civic involvement to be an essential part of their contributions to the Greater Milwaukee area. Since its inception, civic and community involvement has been the rule for the firm and its attorneys.

In addition to individual charitable activities undertaken by the attorneys, the firm has for many years provided pro bono legal services to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, Inc. The Boys & Girls Clubs is one of the Greater Milwaukee area’s oldest non-profit organizations, providing services and activities to thousands of young people in the Milwaukee area. The firm’s legal services for that organization have covered all types of legal issues, including real estate acquisitions by the Clubs to further its urban facilities and acquisitions for its Camp Whitcomb/Mason camp property.

William Fox has also served as past chairman of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, Wisconsin’s largest community corporation.

Members of the firm have also been involved in various facets of the community, from serving on boards for their respective communities, schools and places of worship, to coaching any number of soccer, little league and basketball teams. The firm also serves as corporate counsel for the Great Circus Parade.
