Creditors frequently are at a loss as to how to recover amounts owed to them by debtor individuals or companies. Fox, O'Neill & Shannon, S.C. has substantial experience both in protecting creditors' rights and in enforcing those rights on behalf of its individual and business clients.

The first line of creditors rights activity typically involves informal attempts to obtain recovery of amounts owed to clients without resorting to litigation. When appropriate, workout payment plans and/or collateral security agreements may be obtained and/or modified.

When informal collection and negotiation efforts fail, FOS's creditors rights attorneys, in conjunction with the firm's litigation and business attorneys, obtain recovery through formal collection and/or litigation activities. These include obtaining legal judgments, and engaging in post-judgment collection activities such as executing against personal property liens and real estate judgment liens.
